Performed a p2v and now nothing listening on port 3389?
Check on "Terminal Services Configuration"
When the nic changes, you will probably need to nuke the connection that is there and set up a new one for the new nic.
Also, if you are getting a ghost nic, you can nuke it by adding an environment variable
set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1 In the same cmd prompt... Run the device manager (start devmgmt.msc) and select View -> Show Hidden Devices.
Now you should be able expand and see the disabled nic and remove it.
