If you are getting event id 1054 - blah blah blah, Group Policy processing aborted
- Usual warning: Changing the registry is considered dangerous. If you break your computer, you can keep both halves and not blame me!
Try this reg hack: - combines a couple of possible fixes for this "issue":
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
"GpNetworkStartTimeoutPolicyValue"=dword:0000003c
"GroupPolicyMinTransferRate"=dword:00000000
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System]
"GpNetworkStartTimeoutPolicyValue"=dword:0000003c
"GroupPolicyMinTransferRate"=dword:00000000
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
"GroupPolicyMinTransferRate"=dword:00000000
Here it is as a ready to click-'n-run on file for those dangerous folks
