1. Use supported distro (Ubuntu etc) - see the site
2. Don't set up any extras - Apache / MySQL etc as they come from Virtualmin repositories
3. If you do forget and get MySQL, do this:
dpkg-reconfigure mysql-server-5.0 Go to webmin and add a password for root in the MySQL module in webmin Then recheck your setup
4. If you set up Apache and get an error about Suexec:
apt-get update apt-get upgrade This will replace Apache and some other packages to match the Virtualmin repositories binaries
